Denim Shorts

Here are some easy ideas of how to wear your jean shorts in the fall or spring.  When it’s still a bit chilly out, but you’re tired of wearing pants, sweats, sweaters, etc.

Casual

OUTFIT #1:

This is the super casual, super comfy, easiest way to wear shorts, for me.  If it’s a little chilly out, the socks and sweatshirt should keep you warm enough. But I still feel cute.  And let’s be real, I live for jean shorts. I think baggy sweatshirt helps me feel balanced in coverage considering it’s chilly.  You don’t wanna feel like that weirdo that wears flip-flops in the rain.  Or maybe you do.  I support you.  And the knee-high socks just add a little cozy factor.

Dressed Up ...

OUTFIT #2:

  • Vintage fuchsia blazer

  • Billabong boyfriend tee

  • Black sheer tights

This is my dressy version of jean shorts.  I get so bored in Fall/Winter wearing pants with everything.  And I’m not big on dresses, so this is totally my jam.  Just throw on some sheer tights.  They add a little coverage, but I think they’re so sexy!  Add an ankle boot and a blazer and I legit feel like it’s the hottest outfit!  I wore a baggy boyfriend tee under the blazer, incase I did wanna take the blazer off, I wanted to make sure I still liked the outfit.  But this blazer is so awesome!  A wonderful find at the Salvation Army!

The In-between …

OUTFIT #3:

  • Billabong cutoff jean shorts

  • Vintage, baggy, green sweater

  • Over-the-knee Matisse

  • Cognac suede boots

This is the in-between look.  Not too casual, not too dressy.  But still cute and put together.  These boots are my favorite.  The heel isn’t too tall, but I love how tall the boots are!  They’re so amazing!  I feel like that add a lot of style to any simple look I pair them with.  The green baggy sweater is comfortable, but clean and a nice bright color to add a pop to the look.  Another great thrift store find.
