5 staple shoes for all wardrobes
I’ll just quickly say, each of these shoes have lots of options depending on your style. And that’s what I love! Anyone can take this list and make it their own! You can make it match your wardrobe.
A clean, cute sneaker
Make sure this is not your gym shoe. You want it to feel intentional. That you put on these sneakers for comfort, but you’re still stylish. Not that you put on your running shoes because you didn’t bother to think about what you look like. These can be styled with dresses and jeans and are a great option for those on-the-go days!
A boot
Neutral. Smooth leather, not suede, patterned, snake skin etc. Something classic and comfortable enough for you to walk in. So you can elevate some simple outfits just by throwing these on. No need to worry about having your toes done. Also necessary for the cold weather days. You will have the comfort of wearing socks with these shoes. Some days, that’s necessary.
A dressy shoe, something with a heel
Whether it’s strappy, closed toe, pointed toe, whatever style you like. But something you can wear with an evening dress or a pair of nice dress slacks and a blouse. A heel also will make you feel like you’ve dressed up. I love that feeling!
A sandal
Casual but cute. Something to wear with your summer dresses or linen pants, that isn’t a flip-flop. Again, it feels intentional. You’ll still have the comfort of the flip-flop, but just look a lot more pulled together.
A loafer / mule / mary jane
This can be great for the office, or for a mildly formal event. You’ll have the comfort of not being in a heel, but again, it’s still elevated and looks intentional. These can look great with dresses, skirts, and pants. Just depends on your style.
