How we enter something is how it goes...
Let me explain a little more. This concept was brought to me by my sister. So I may not nail it exactly, but hopefully you’ll get the point.
Basically, if you start a new job and you’re anxious or fearful that things will “go wrong,” they often will. It might take some time, but if that’s what your energy is waiting for, then it will show itself.
If you walk into that same job expecting to learn and grow, that is what you will find.
Notice I didn’t say you’re expecting it to be easy. There will always be lessons, tough situations, anywhere. But if we go into something expecting that and still expecting it to be a good experience, it will be.
The same goes for relationships.
Ever have that one friend that is constantly getting let down, broken up with, and she/he can never seem to figure it out why. It’s probably because of how she/he entered the relationship, a little fearful, a little guarded, and probably anticipating to get “let down.”
Anyways, you get my point.
I say all this to enter into this new year with a different energy. Don’t expect easy, but expect joy, love, growth. You can find those in anything. It’s really a choice.
