Are you ready?
Having your outfit laid out the day before is one of my #1 stress reducers.
And yes, I do this myself often.
I lay out my gym clothes every night.
If I’m going straight to a client or have to leave the house shortly after the gym, I lay that outfit out as well.
Why?
Because it takes one thing off my brain.
One less decision to make in the moments while I’m getting ready.
When I’m feeling sluggish and thinking about skipping the gym.
When I’m stressed about a meeting.
Whatever it may be. It reduces my stress and that’s a big deal for me.
The #1 reason people wear the same thing over and over isn’t because they just love it so much. It’s because they have decision fatigue.
Getting dressed is something you do every single day. So to think you won’t ever decision fatigue over this is silly.
One way I help alleviate this is by setting out your clothes the night before. It’s just like meal prepping or packing your bag for long days.
Hope this helps!
