Dressing the part

As a stylist, obviously I am always working on your style, your attire, your wardrobe, as a whole.

But there’s this other level of not just getting dressed to look good and feel good, but getting dressed to fit the part.

What do I mean?

I mean, look at it like it’s a uniform or even a costume if you need to.

Going to the gym. What do you wear? Gym clothes, duh. But wearing the cuter leggings and maybe the matching sports bra. And then getting cool socks that make you look like you’re a “gym girl” and you know what you’re doing, will actually help you show up better when you get to the gym. You will feel better and then be more inclined to workout harder.

You have an interview, but maybe it’s virtual. Maybe it’s even just on the phone. Dress the part. Put on the slacks, button up, blazer, whatever it is and BE the person who would already have that job!

You’re going to an event to network. Dress. The. Part. Be the person that others are drawn to. They wanna know what you do and who you are.

Before you say any words, how you look is what they see. If you FEEL like the professional in your field, they’re going to feel that too.

You show up when you walk in that room. Make sure you dress the part.

Ciao for now,

Tami Sofia
