Diving Deeper (into your closet)

Have you ever really cleaned out your closet?

Have you actually gone through all your items and seen what you have, what you wear, and what you don’t?

I can’t tell you how important this is and how much better it’ll make you feel.

Clutter actually gives most people anxiety. Not to mention all that space you’ll have, only having clothes you know you love, etc.

Having a clear space gives you clarity and peace of mind.

I have 2 ways that I like to do this.

T H E R O U T I N E

We just do the current season. Focus on the now!

●  Let’s say we’re doing Spring/Summer. I won’t touch the heavy jackets, sweaters, cold weather clothes, accessories and shoes.

●  This way we’re just getting into the immediate things you’re wearing. Everything is fresh on your mind.

●  You’ll know exactly what items you aren’t using and which items are in heavy rotation.

We go big and do it all! This is the full overhaul (I recommend this for almost all new clients).

●  We dive in and pull everything out. We go through all categories and do a deep clean/purge.

●  This is where we can really get a feel for your shopping patterns, the holes in your wardrobe, your current size, current style, current desires.

●  I also like to take this time to catalog and photograph all the items we’re keeping. This gives us a lot of room to work together for shopping and styling going forward, at any time.

When you hire me to do either of these, I take the reins.

I guide the process and do all the heavy lifting (figuratively and literally 😉 ).

I will get you organized and help you make better decisions going forward, in relation to your wardrobe.

Either of these closet edits are the first step I take when working with anyone new. So I highly recommend getting this done, even if you aren’t sure what kind of styling services you’d like.

This is why I always start here. We get to know each other and where you are in your style journey.

We’ll both learn a lot during the process and that’ll help give you and I clarity on where to go next.
