How to get Dressed for the day

I say this all the time, but the best way is to be prepared.

I will lay out my outfits the night before for most things. In-person client days a lunch date, a work shopping day, a set day.

I even have some outfits lined up that are things I want to try and I grab them for my lunch dates or errand days, just to test them out.

If you follow me on social media, you see my “Maybe Monday’s.” This is where I pull out items I’m on the fence about and make an outfit. If I can make at least one outfit I like, I make myself wear it out, to make sure I like it.

But this is about preparing. Having outfits lined up that you love, makes it easy.

I have outfits for my work-from-home days too. Because when it’s early morning, you’re getting started on your day, there are so many things running through your brain.

Getting dressed shouldn’t be a chore. And it should actually help you. Getting dressed in something that feels good will elevate your mood and give you energy for the day.

Give it a try!
